Tailored with a curved opening and a three-button closure, the coat blends structure and softness. Where the raglan meets a traditional sleeve cut at the back, the shoulder holds just enough structure to maintain an elegant shape across the shoulders. A vent runs down the back – caught at the waist by a button closure that can be released for a roomier feel. The coat is finished with mother-of-pearl buttons, and silk thread, and lined with 100 percent Italian silk.

Alashan cashmere, sourced from goats indigenous to the Alashan Plateau of Inner Mongolia, is smooth and strong. This blend of cashmere and silk twill has a slightly ribbed texture, allowing for a uniquely satisfying depth of colour.

The cashmere is sourced by Piacenza from Mongolia, and 56 percent has been certified by the Sustainable Fibre Alliance. This is an international non-profit that sets a benchmark for sustainable cashmere production – from the farmers in Mongolia to the final garment.
